Since opening our first store in Lawrence in 2006, MobileComm has grown into a trusted name with six locations across Wichita. When brothers Hamid and Milad Bakhtiari took over the original MobileComm shop, they set out to do things differently—no overpriced plans, no long waits, and no confusing contracts. Their simple vision of honest, affordable service resonated with customers, fueling steady growth built on trust and quality.

Today, Hamid and his team continue to evolve MobileComm, offering cost-effective, reliable solutions backed by two decades of experience.

MobileComm is more than a business—it’s a Wichita success story. Founder Hamid Bakhtiari’s entrepreneurial spirit started early. At just nine years old, he was fixing the family computer to save money, then repairing printers, refurbishing computers, and selling them locally. By high school, Hamid was active in Youth Entrepreneurs and DECA at Wichita North High. At 19, while studying at Wichita State University, he made his first business buyout—laying the foundation for what would become MobileComm. From the beginning, Hamid wanted MobileComm to stand apart—not just in service, but in culture. He built a company where employees are treated like family, rewarded for helping customers, and encouraged to grow personally and professionally.

With around 50 team members, many fluent in both Spanish and English, MobileComm is committed to employee development. Our technicians undergo specialized training—sometimes as far away as New York—to master complex repairs and deliver the highest level of technical service.

But MobileComm isn’t just about fixing and selling phones. It’s a place where people learn, grow, and challenge themselves—where new perspectives are valued, and teamwork drives success.
